Description
Some plants like lavender, marigold, citronella, lemon grass, rosemary, basil and many more naturally repel bugs. Lavender is particularly popular as a natural people-and-pet-safe pest control.
How does it work? The aroma of these plants is too strong for small insects and discourages them from flying near the area.
The Tiba Asili bug repellents are a blend of infused plants that are known for their insect repelling properties as well as essential oils.
You have the choice between:
-the spray: you can use it as a room perfume, spray it on skin, clothes, curtains, pillow cases, etc.
-the lotion: to be applied on the skin, with all the properties of a skin protecting lotion on top. This option is an excellent moisturiser, as well as being an exceptional humectant (it locks in the hydration by improving the skin barrier, avoiding trans epidermal water loss).
Both contain the botanicals listed below which all have instect repelling properties as well as skin benefitting properties:
– A blend of carefully selected essential oils.
– Marigold, with its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic compounds that can help soothe and protect damaged skin.
About ethanol (only in the spray, not in the lotion): naturally derived ethanol helps blend the essential oils, improves spray performance and allows the formula to dry quickly. It is carefully balanced with aloe vera, marigold hydrosol and glycerin to leave skin feeling comfortable and refreshed.
