Our main ingredient is beeswax, produced by our honey bees. In skincare, its function ranges from its role as an occlusive, helping to create a semi-occlusive skin barrier that minimizes trans epidermal water loss, as a humectant, locking in hydration and as an emollient to soften and soothe the skin, preventing your lips from feeling dry.

Cocoa butter is an emollient that is a great source of natural antioxidants. It adds a protective hydrating layer to lips, helping protect them from extreme temperatures that can leave your lips dried out.
Lanolin creates a soothing barrier and locks in hydration to help your lips restore their moisture balance.
Propolis is a natural remedy for treating wounds and skin problems. It is produced by bees and is known for its medicinal properties. Among the beneficial actions of propolis, we observe a significant bacteriostatic and bactericidal action, extended to many microbial strains, but also antifungal properties, anaesthetic effects, healing properties, antioxidant action, or anti-inflammatory properties.
Honey has antibacterial and anti-septic properties, so it gets rid of dirt and bacteria. It’s full of antioxidants and helps stimulate collagen production. Honey can help moisturise your lips and protect cracked lips from infection. It also works as a mild exfoliator and can help remove dry, dead skin from your lips.
The benefits of Devil’s Claw oil in this lip balm are that it moisturises and softens lips. It heals sores, boils, and irritated or inflamed skin.
Today, calendula is often used topically, meaning it is applied to the skin. Calendula has been shown to help wounds heal faster, possibly by increasing blood flow and oxygen to the affected area, which helps the body grow new tissue. It is also used to improve skin hydration and firmness.
Menthol’s natural antiseptic properties help cleanse the lips, reducing the risk of infection and promoting faster healing. It also has a cooling effect which helps soothe and care for sore, dry and chapped lips.
Our lip balms contain tocopherol, which is the technical name for cosmetic Vitamin E. Vitamin E is known for its restorative skin properties and healing abilities.
