The Tiba Asili bug repellents are a blend of infused plants that are known for their insect repelling properties as well as essential oils.
You have the choice between:
-the spray: you can use it as a room perfume, spray it on skin, clothes, curtains, pillow cases, etc.
-the lotion: to be applied on the skin, with all the properties of a skin protecting lotion on top. This option is an excellent moisturiser, as well as being an exceptional humectant (it locks in the hydration by improving the skin barrier, avoiding trans epidermal water loss).
Both contain the botanicals listed below which all have instect repelling properties as well as skin benefitting properties:
– A blend of carefully selected essential oils.
– Marigold, with its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic compounds that can help soothe and protect damaged skin.
– Abutilon, an emollient that provides the functional benefits of enhancing skin smoothness and reducing the appearance of fine lines and coarse wrinkles. It is also an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.
– Wedelia is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, wound healing, antimicrobial.
– African blue basil and its potent antioxidants such as flavonoids, polyphenols, and vitamins A and C, which help neutralize harmful free radicals in the body. This antioxidant activity may help reduce oxidative stress and cell damage linked to cancer development and progression.
